Description

Joaquín Sorolla was a Spanish painter of the late Impressionist period, best known for his light-filled, colorful paintings depicting the coast of Valencia and everyday life in Spain. Sorolla was known for his love of painting outdoors (plein air) and his ability to capture natural light, especially sunlight, in a spectacular and precise manner.

This print is an adaptation of a photograph I took of Sorolla's house in Madrid, which is now a museum. Sorolla Museum, and it served as his studio. The studio is impressive in its size and lighting, and is characterized by high ceilings that allow natural light to penetrate. The studio's large windows face the inner courtyard, bringing in soft, diffused light that falls on the work surfaces and emphasizes the color details and depth of the painting.

Exchanges and returns
